Why Main Event Fitness?
We are routinely told that our gym “is the best they’ve ever seen!” The bottom line is that we take great pride in providing our members with a memorable and fun workout experience.
Is overcrowding an issue?
Overcrowding is not a problem at Main Event Fitness. There are three (3) distinctive floors and 33,000 square feet of workout space. Our equipment inventory is mind boggling.
What’s the parking situation?
There are more than 500 parking spaces available.
What are the hours of operation?

Why did you change your logo in 2006?
Our brand has changed significantly since we developed the “old” logo back in 1997. We felt it was time to change our logo to identify with the new and fresh image of Main Event Fitness.
Should I notify Main Event Fitness if my address, phone number, e-mail address, or emergency contact information has changed?
What is appropriate workout attire?
If your mom wouldn’t approve, then it’s probably not appropriate for the gym. We simply require tasteful, inoffensive clothing throughout the gym. The Main Event Fitness
Store offers clothing that is fashionable, trendy, and socially acceptable for the gym environment.
What about towels and lockers?
Please bring your own towel and lock. We recommend using a towel to manage sweat on your person or on the equipment you are using. We do offer towels for sale ($3). There are plenty of lockers to accommodate everyone. The lockers are for daily use only and may not be used for overnight storage.
What are the club amenities?
- Spacious locker rooms
- Multiple bathrooms
- Multiple water fountains

Membership
What is the guest policy?
The Daily membership fee is $13.50. However, should the Daily member wish to purchase items from the Main Event Fitness
Store, $5.00 of the Daily fee may be applied to the same-day purchase of apparel, supplements, drinks, and energy bars when the total purchase exceeds $20.00.
The Daily membership fee for guests of current members in good standing is $8.50. Out-of-town guests, temporarily living in the area, may choose from several short-term membership options (see Rates).
A one-day Guest Pass is available only to local residents who have toured the facility and would like to “test” the Main Event Fitness experience before deciding on a membership option.
How much does the gym membership cost?
Do I have to sign a contract?
'No' in one sense, but 'yes' in another. You may obtain a membership without committing to any long-term financial agreement; of course, we pass on the greatest savings to those who make commitments up to one year. But all users must sign a standard liability waiver and an acknowledgement of Club rules, agreeing to abide by those rules at all times. For those who decide to pay monthly fees by e-check or credit card, we will require the normal details associated with our providing those credit arrangements.
How does the monthly billing process work?
As indicated in the membership agreement, dues will be withdrawn/charged monthly on the designated day (1st or 15th) from either your credit card account or your checking account via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).
Can I change my method of payment?
You may change your credit card or checking account, but the change must be requested IN PERSON and in writing no less than ten (10) days prior to your next draft date. You must also provide a voided check for the new bank account or present the credit card you wish to use so that it can be imprinted. Failure to timely notify us about account changes will likely result in a returned item or denied payment notice by your financial institution. Applicable service fees will apply.
Can I “freeze” my membership?
Upon completion of a “freeze request” form and payment of a $15.00 processing fee, members may “freeze” their membership once per calendar year for a period of no less than 30 consecutive days and no more than 90 consecutive days. Requests must be submitted IN PERSON no less than 10 days prior to the next scheduled draft date for the account normally charged. Any request after the fact will not be considered.
What is the cancellation policy?
Your membership may be cancelled any time after your initial contract term by giving the club a 30-day written notification prior to the next scheduled monthly dues payment date. You must visit the Club IN PERSON and complete a cancellation request form at the front desk. If you are requesting to cancel prior to completion of your initial term, proof of move outside our normal service perimeter (20 miles) or proof of a medical condition (one which a medical doctor has determined should prevent you from working out for at least six months) will also be required. Proof must be hand-delivered to the Club or sent certified mail (return receipt requested). Facsimile or e-mail requests will not be accepted or acted upon. In a situation in which you have moved or are moving, please provide us with a copy of a new lease or utility bill as proof of this new residence. For all medical issues, please provide us with an appropriate letter from your medical doctor. Dues chargeable during the month of cancellation will not be pro-rated. Please mail all cancellation requests with valid proof via certified mail to:

Can my son/daughter use the Club with me?
Yes, we do permit children (12 or over) to use the Club when accompanied and fully-supervised by a member/parent. Upon payment of the daily fee for a member-accompanied guest ($8.50/visit), the parent will be required to sign a specific waiver for the child. Alternatively, a Junior Membership may be purchased by the member/parent who intends to bring his/her child to the Club frequently.
What additional fees will be charged to me if charges to my credit card account or checking account are declined or rejected when Main Event Fitness attempts to withdraw the agreed amounts?
A $25 processing penalty will be assessed for any form of payment that is returned or denied for reasons such as insufficient funds, invalid card (lost or stolen), frozen or closed accounts, or “over-limit” issues. Please review your membership agreement if you have any questions, or you may call 770-951-2120 and speak with the Office Manager.
